Web 2.0 Tools
1. Writeboard
The first Web 2.0 tool that I used was the writeboard. What the writeboard allows you to do is put anything that you may of taught in class into text for students to see. This can be helpful in relaying important information to students who were not present in class or any information you are trying to get the class to utilize as a whole. Also this can be useful if a student forgot to record something in class or needed a refresher about some information that was covered in class, at the comfines of their own home. For my example I used the information on Chapter 5: Phonics and Word Knowledge powerpoint. This allows the students to get the information in text from my presentation. Here is the link http://123.writeboard.com/7b51a23c2d03adc90 and if it asks for a password it is ED401.

2. Mind Meister
The second Web 2.0 tool that I used was a mind meister. What this allows you to do is brainstorm and shair ideas visually with your class. This could be real useful when assigning projects, you can have students share project ideas on this tool or you can show them the options they have with a description of what the project is with the mind meister. Another way a mind meister can be used is by outlining a book or imformation that was given in class. For my mind meister I outlined the book The Very Hungry Catepillar. Students are able to look at my mind meister and get an outline of the book in a quick easy way. It can be posted on a web page for students to view with them being able to add on to it or just view it.
